Hazardous Materials Transportation Training Modules
By US Department of Transportation. U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) regulations require training (and retraining) of all employees who perform work functions covered by the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR; 49 CFR Parts 171-180). Any employee who works in a shipping, receiving or material handling area or who may be involved in preparing or transporting hazardous materials is required to have training. The Office of Hazardous Materials Safety has prepared training modules that meet the requirements for General Awareness Training as prescribed in Title 49 CFR, Part 172, Subpart H. The Training Modules contain Instructor and Student manuals in an Adobe Acrobat PDF format.
